Dungeon Meat are back with a bang and start 2015 with a mighty slam of the hammer . The 4th EP to come from the dungeons and a special one as the boys enlist one of their long time inspirations POINT G aka DJ Gregory to deliver his first ep for the label . This heavy 3 track collection marks the first collaboration between the Parisian don and Leeds’ finest beat butchers . An alliance that will have fans of both artists hot under the collar . DM are very honoured to be the first label outside of POINT G’s own imprints to release a full ep from him. Here POINT G delivers a selection of his trademark stripped back club bangers ready to do the damage on any dance floor . If this is a taste of things to come then we can’t wait to hear what is served up in the near future from this united force.

Muscle Behind The Hustle

Our 3rd release is another artist debut and comes from a name that might not have fallen on your ears yet but we guarantee you’ll be hearing a lot more from this fresh talent. At only 18 years of age, Julian Alexander is our youngest bionic beat butcher to join the team of Dungeon Masters . With a background in Jazz & Hip Hop , a multi instrumentalist and a passion for underground house , Julian steps up to the plate with his own unique style , exploring an even darker chamber of the “dungeon” sound. Stripped down to the bare bones his minimalist approach brings his dynamite drums and sub sonic voodoo to the forefront and troubles even the biggest bass bins with his thick low end frequencies . One of the tracks UNDRGR he wrote when he was only 16 years old highlighting what a real natural talent we have on our hands. It’s with great pleasure we present to you this slammin’ e.p from our next generation .

Grab this solid serving of meat and potatoes (beats n’ bass) right here and at all other quality beat butchers

WARNING: This is designed for sound systems NOT for laptops or smart phones.

So what do you get when you cross one of the hottest House bands in the world with the sick mind of Brawther ? You get this rare, rocking remix from the big man himself … His “Mean Dub” of “My Offence” by Hercules & Love Affair has got all the ingredients of the “Dungeon Meat” sound and has been doing the damage everywhere it gets dropped…… This is the definition of CUNTY .

Out now in digital download and coming soon on ltd edition 12″ .

Dungeon Meat @ Sankey’s (Manchester)

Dungeon Meat @ Sankey's (Manchester)

We are really looking forward to this one … Music Is Love have been bringing some heavyweight line ups to Sankey’s in Manchester and we are very happy to be included in May’s party . These guys don’t mess about and neither do we so expect a serious sonic assault on the night . We will be doing a live set but also spinning records afterwards so it will be a rare (pun intended) treat for fans of the label as we are not doing many live sets this year. We can’t wait to do it all again after our debut at Fabric and really hope that everyone who missed that gig can make it to this one. Get the date in you diary and get some meat in you derriere.

Ticket’s are on sale now , Hope we see some of you there .

Fabric get a MEAT injection

 Fabric get a MEAT injection

On March 1st Dungeon Meat had the pleasure of hosting room 3 at one of the best clubs in the world, Fabric London.

Blunt Instruments warmed up with a ninjas selection of dungeon treats and set the tone perfectly for our FIRST EVER live set . 10 weeks of hard work spat out in one hour of new unreleased music mixed in with a couple of new versions of current releases.

We were thrilled with the outcome , the hard work paid off and we served up a slamming showcase of things to come.

After the live Brawther hot footed it across the dancefloor and immediately began an audio assassination dropping weapons left right and centre taking no prisoners. Regardless of what was happening in the other rooms, the majority of people who came to see us stayed in room 3 all night .

The Dungeon Meat thread was present throughout the whole morning and was finished off with some serious DM back2back keeping the room pumping and popping until the very end. The vibe was just right with great energy from the crowd. Thanks to everyone who pumped a fist and did a twist on the dancefloor . Your support is truly recognised and appreciated.

BIG thanks to Fabric for having us and believing in us  and HUGE respect to Blunt Instruments for representing and dropping the hammer.

Keep ’em peeled for more gigs and live shows coming soon .
